The exhibition Trinta anos de 68, presented by the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in 1998, and consecrated to the vanguard and the engaged art in the 1960s directed the attention to a considerable public of young people in these days of mercantilism of the human relations, where the revolt and the dream gave place to the acquiescence and pragmatism. During the sixties, the Brazilian vanguard emphasizes the necessity of an art of the people and for the people.
